I got the slides by placing an ad in my local newspaper sating ‘old photo slides wanted’.
I got contacted by an old man that had these old slides from his passed away cousin. He was happy to hand them over as they would have ended up in the bin anyways. I’m going to give him a flash drive with all the photos.
Please help me here. I think this is right but Please let me know and I will correct it.

11. Is definitely Hjálparfoss. Some of those pictures are in Þjórsárdalur and near Hekla which erupted that year.
There is a fairly good chance the bus driver was my grandfather.
