Meanwhile, here’s an actual terrorist attack. This is what extremism looks like, and this is what happens when you’ve got ministers like Braverman and papers like the Daily Mail throwing rhetorical petrol bombs into the public discourse.

Damn I hadn’t looked at Twitter in a while. This tag is a really horrible tunnel to go down. How have we gotten to such hostility to charity…

It’s as if we’re moving into the world in the film: with its discussion of declining birth rates, press spouting the migrant crisis to distract from actual prominent issues, climate change getting worse, that it sometimes feels like we’re moving to that. Horrific shame we’ve gotten to this stage.
The government has turned many of the common working people against illegal immigrants. Years of not solving the housing crisis has left many people bitter.
Most people nowadays can’t even get on to the property ladder and when they hear that the government is spending millions a day housing illegal immigrants it will unfortunately make their blood boil.
