Boris Johnson’s rule is a throwback to the 18th-century golden age of sleaze.

  1. wtf is sleaze supposed to mean? It’s corruption, call it what it is. Same logic as “fake news”, it’s lies.

  2. Johnson loves history and feels the empire needs to be reborn. I expect he would love a return to the idea of 18th century corruption on top of that. He thinks he should be PM as his divine right, not because he is the right man for the job, he does not care what he does while in power as a result.

  3. Literally why do we bother? If you want something done then guy Fawkes the cunts simple otherwise leave country because fuck the UK the way it’s heading.

  4. Let’s not limit or scapegoat this whole thing. This kind of shite is conservative government exemplified.
    To pin it to one man gives this unjustified rush of relief when they remove their figurehead. The shitty wheels keep turning and the poor will continue to be worse off.

  5. So don’t vote Tory in the next election then.
    If enough people agree then labour will get in.
    Personally I believe governments will always be corrupt whoever is in charge.

    As the saying goes: Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  6. The word is fucking corruption. Not sleeze you bunch of fucks. Constantly downplaying the actions of this twisted group of rancid assholes is why so few people dont give a fuck. Than and their general lack of intelligence, but refusing to call anything out properly isnt helping. They know lots of people dont read past the headline, saying it in the article doesnt matter much when you downplay it in the title.

  7. It reminds me of that great Blackadder election slogan;

    “A rotten candidate for a rotten borough.”

  8. Calling it sleaze makes it seem less scummy than it actually is. These MPs that have second jobs with a clear conflict of interest are blatantly corrupt. Why is it that we are using an innuendo rather than calling them out on it?

  9. I haven’t seen family for almost two years and have lost three members this past 6 months, including my little neice. I will never see her again.

    It’s unlikely we will all get together this christmas again.

    And this…..this…..fetid turd string and his mincing minion- Jobbie Reese-Minge- are holding parties every friday at no. 10.

  10. Boris Johnson has literally never once pretended that this wasn’t exactly the look he was aiming for, nor did Cameron or May. Conservative voters knew what they were voting for and they voted for it anyway.
