Stick it in the oven for a few mins to melt the cheese or melt the cheese in a pan and pour it over.
Put it under the grill you heathen.
You need to take it up another level – cheese on beans on cheese on toast.
Grate the cheese well in advance so it comes up to room temperature. Then when you put it over piping hot beans, it will melt more easily than if it was fridge-cold.
If you want the cheese bubbling, stick it under a hot grill for a minute or two after you put it on the beans.
Depends on the cheese. Even cheddar cheeses differ how they melt.
Why not just make cheese on toast and cover it in beans?
Is this a pre-grated cheddar? It looks that way.. they never melt particularly well, something to do with the preservatives I presume
First off that is too much cheese, second off when you put your toast under the grill just put the cheese on it then. Third off just generally what is this?
In so many ways.
If you want the cheese on top, make create it and pop in an oven for a minute. Melty!
Blame the Tories for this one and think that a General Election is needed.
Burnt toast, un melted cheese, I bet the beans are fucking cold too.
I’m torn between being in awe at the size of your bollocks posting this abomination on a uk subreddit, and pity wondering if you’re even able to dress yourself in a morning.
Just put the cheese in the pot of beans while it cooks?
Genius! Probably stops the toast getting too soggy too, right? I’m trying this next time
Heat the beans up more!!!
You gotta actually heat the beans
Bang the beans on the toast.
Put the cheese on the toast
Bang the plate in the microwave for 3 minutes
Heats the beans and cheese at the same time
(Bread gets slightly soggy)
Practicality 100%
Are you sure your beans were hot enough? If microwaved/heated fully, you should have no issues with the cheese melting
Put mayonnaise on your beans instead and then mix it in (you can thank me later)
You could just pop it under the grill and melt the cheese.
