Turkey is able to parcitipate in horizons. A country that openly thereathens an EU member with war about territorial claims. Switzerland can’t collaborate because we are not willing to give up some laws for the EU. Laws which protect our workers rights. Says all about the EU and their so called “values”. This is also not a reliable partner for Switzerland. This is just powerplay. People on reddit need to stop liking the EUs boots in that matter.
The corresponding thread on r/Europe was full of EU fanboys condemning and mocking this. They are suddenly fine with Turkey being a “reliable partner” just to make a point. Tomorrow they will complain about Turkey aiming its missiles on Athens again.
So the EU has thrown out all top european universities because of politics. The only universities that can really compete with USA and Asia . Great idea.
So…we think we can replace the rest of the EU with…the UK? Yay…..
The Non-EU European countries should do more of this.
