Zdraveite! I painted this map of Bulgaria and wanted to share it here. I’ve always wanted to visit, and it was fun to learn about your country’s history, especially ancient and medieval. Bulgaria is beautiful!

  1. I learned a lot while researching for this painting. I’m especially interested in the beautiful churches and ancient buildings all around. I think that Nesebar is particularly stunning. Also sorry if there are any spelling mistakes or other inaccuracies in the map, I hope there’s nothing too obviously wrong : )

  17. I like the art style. I appreciate every map made like a map from the hobbit or more accurately from the “old ages”. The mountain detail is my favourite.

  19. Brit living in Bulgaria. My house is on the left one of those double hills in Lovech district. Bulgaria is beautiful and Bulgarians are friendly and welcoming. Too much to see in one trip, but Tsaravets (in VT), Hisarya and Plovdiv would feature some of the historical things you’d enjoy.
