Why did turkey get popular at Christmas? Hopefully this could be a trigger point that we actually centre dinner around something tasty instead.

There’s been a claim of a Turkey shortage going back ten years I think. It’s a favourite story recycled year after year.
Ah lovely. The start of the traditional Christmas shortage scare mongering stories. Ok everyone go and buy 10 turkeys and 100 rolls of toilet paper just in case.

Of course I’ve got a turkey. It’s an organic turkey, I took ages researching it online. It’s going to be delicious.
If there is a shortage we can eat something else. Hardly a major issue compared to the war raging in Europe.
