I’m sure that the entire neighborhood being punished is going to do wonders for the trust people have in the police.
This action is purely done to placate the police services. Nothing more.

This is such a joke measure but I get it having to keep the night shops and other activities open would force the local police to patrol the area and may result in other incidents.
However just because they are closed it doesn’t mean that the dealers, pimps and refugees take a vacation too… they are still roaming around. I constantly hear fighting at 3 4 am people get arrested for dealing and I see them after 3-5 days.
It’s not a new problem though it’s been 6 maybe 8 years and so far the government never cared about it.
The communes can only apply half measures if at all without federal ressources and assistance…
Yes, let’s declare the neighborhood a no-go-zone during the night. That’ll fix those safety issues! /s
