Quite honestly, I find this completely unfair. The Patata should have won – it certainly has more culture and is much more interesting to look at compared to that souless slab of concrete.
It’s horrendous. It should’ve honored the past and the local culture, not tried to imitate Miami.

It’s just a concrete square with some benches shaped as a suppository. No trees and doesn’t enhance the architectural beauty of old Nicosia.
