Łódź can be a very nice place to live. You can love it or hate it. Lots of contrasts here. Great architecture. Lots of schools and students. Great parks and green areas around the city. Also lots of poor people and some pathology in older parts of the city. Lodz is a city of 4 cultures.

My home city, many people like it some hate it, I reccomened going to Manufaktura, Piotrkowska (at night its amazing)
Wait till you see Radom airport!
Be sure to visit Radom and Sosnowiec as well. Those cities are all stunningly gorgeous.
