‘They Know Who I Am, They Know What I’m Doing’: Arrested Journalists Speak Out over New Policing Act

  1. Only extremely naive people (50% + of the population) would think that this is just a few peelers abusing their position and wasn’t directed by our ‘elected’ representatives

  2. time to start targeting the lawmakers.

they do not work for us any more. they actively oppress us, and there’s a growing group who refuse to accept fascism in the UK.

  3. I’m torn:

    1. this could be a conspiracy to stop the free press reporting on the protests or
    2. the police really are inept, ignorant, knuckle dragging reactionaries

    Realise (2) doesn’t exclude (1).

  4. The very notion that the government actively allows the police to spy on protest movements (active, healthy parts of a normal democratic society) as the norm now should be terrifying to most.

Unfortunately, even our main opposition party appears to be in tacit aproval of these developments, and further, wants to increase sentences for these protestors.
