What is that supposed to achieve? If there is no response to the first 3 messages, I doubt the other 130 messages are going to make a difference.
Watched the whole thing, absolutely fascinating. Thanks for posting!
I watched it this morning, and it was a real eye-opener.
I always figured that NHS waiting times were a nightmare for transpeople, and that people pushing against self-ID were aware of that. But I didn’t realise how much more difficult and demeaning it was and how many unnecessary stages there were for transgender people to get the healthcare they need.
Delaying for months just to send a referral? Its obscene. Self-medication and self-harm are emergencies!
Isn’t the legal definition of this harassment of the doctor?
Its a great example of the disconnect in social debate of this country that many people who oppose “transgenderism” (re: transphobes) seem to just stop at the first 5 minute “Easy & Wrong Version” and then do not seem to understand or even want to listen when many people attempt to explain to them some of the many points covered in the remaining hour+ of this video.
Who the hell has a doctors they can e-mail? What’s wrong with picking up the phone, or calling into the surgery
It would be interesting to do a (if she hasn’t done it already in this video, I’m just starting to watch/listen to it) a comparison between how the NHS is now with transgender issues and how it was thirty to forty years ago with homosexuality, because a lot of the same tropes and scare tactics do seem to be coming out of the woodwork.
Used to be you had to live / dress 18 months as your gender before they’d even consider any other options.
Anyways the NHS has been systematically run into the ground on purpose. I’ve managed to see a GP ONCE in two years, who referred me for a biopsy. The consultant at the hospital didn’t even look at me and went no.
It’s all gone to shit, whatever care you require. Not the doctors or nurses fault, they are just completely swamped and thanks to Brexit hormone therapy for anyone is a fight to get.
