For anyone here that has a morbid fascination with airplane disasters, I’ve come across this guy from Dublin on YouTube that has a channel dedicated to them. The videos are reinacted with flight sim and he does a great voice over.

…is this a common interest?
Just discovered his channel last week and have watched a few videos.. They are excellent
I read a huge article about the Malasian one from a few years ago. Apparently they searched the co pilots house and found Microsoft Flight Simulator on his PC with the exact path the plane took programmed on it. They recon he was practicing it.
Qxir is another good Irish YouTuber. He does all sorts of interesting stories, including air crashes, acts of terrorism, why there’s only 25 blimps in the world, and a video all about cat’s eyes (the road ones), just to name a few. Great videos for a YT marathon night in my opinion.
ETA – thanks for sharing this BTW. I love air crash investigation type of videos and the Irish YouTuber section is heavily underrepresented.
I like a bit of Blancolirio on YT is great for sober analysis
Mentour Pilot is my go-to for this kind of thing.
As he’s an active airline pilot it’s hard to get a better perspective on this stuff.
