What do you call this fascinating creature of the skies? Are they only found in CH?

  1. It’s the alpine chough. They are common in many mountain areas such as the Alps, Pyrenees, Balkan mountains, Caucasus and even the Himalayas. The closely related red-billed chough is much rarer in Switzerland and only occurs in Wallis.

  2. Pretty sure I saw several like this plummeting down couloirs for fun.
    They were cheering each other on and seemed to be having a real good time.
