They cut out tomato and carrot
My workplace also downgraded their broodjes in the sodexo cafeteria. The bread got smaller and they dont fill it, they skimp on everything. The bread is always stale.

I’ve eaten many “belegde broodjes” in many places and there is only one place that i know of that has decent onces. Decent as in, they are cheaper than litterally every other place, and I actually have to force myself to eat it all, everywhere else i need to eat 2 to feel somewhat full.
This has become a sad exploitative bussiness sadly, this was already the case before any crisis

Never would I pay for a plastic wrapped sandwich in Belgium. I mean, there’s so many cheaper fresh options in local sandwich shops to start with.€5,40 will get me a large smos Mexicano, which is an entire baguette, at my local sandwich pusher.
