It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but Google’s AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

I found this recently on the Swisstopo blog when I was searching for some historical information, and ended up spending a couple hours clicking through the aerial photographies from all the taken decades. I knew map.geo.admin.ch before, but I haven’t known about the old aerial maps, and now it is definitely one of my favourite features!
There are way too many damn people living here now…
That’s so interesting !
Thanks for the find !
Basel also has a ton, including a 1933 version by Swisstopo.

There are also Aerial photos. Just click on the box and you’ll be taken to the Luftbildviewer.

Swisstopo is a fucking treasure
Where I (and several hundred other people) live now were fields and a farm back then. The streets were heavily “corrected”. I see what looks like a brook, but there are no signs of a such these days (nor of farm buildings). Perhaps the brook is underground now…
