  1. Once went in for an item that cost £35

    It was on 3 for 2. So I could get 3 for £70

    But they had a pack of 3 for £65. Which was in their 3 for 2 offer, that’s great, 3 packs for £130.

    Only they also had the 9 month pack for £120…

    Fucked off and bought it on the internet for half the price.

  2. The pound is very low compared to historical values so everything British looks cheap right now. Hence the sales of dozens of other companies (ARM, Morrisons etc).

  3. Boots is effectively a monopoly as they are the only game in town in a lot of locations. Regulators should be looking into breaking it up, rather than further consolidation and foreign ownership.
