  1. Wouldve thought that Russia be more tea but they dont have statistics. Maybe it was only the upper class in St Peter and Moscow and not the average Iivana

  2. I mean I managed to avoid the indoctrination until I got to working life. I found quickly that I’m very sensitive to caffeine, but damn if I don’t drink 2 cups by 11 I’ll be one unsatisfied Finn.

I remember when I went to sleepovers with friends even before school age, we’d always have coffee with breakfast, and I’d be looked at kinda weird for asking for tea.

It’s so integral to the culture at this point it’s kinda bonkers.

  3. I’m a bit worried because the climate crisis will affect global coffee production in the future and we can’t really grow our own.

We do have started experimenting with lab-grown coffee and have our own source.

  4. Dear Finnish learners, when you visit someone and they ask if you want coffee or not, it is customary to reply ”Ei minua varten tarvitse keittää” (You don’t need to make any for me). Even if you wanted some. Such is life here

  5. I used to drink 3 cups of coffee daily but then i moved to Finland and now I’m drinking at least 6 cups daily. I noticed that coffee here doesn’t give me the caffeine kick.

  6. I’m a Korean and didn’t know that dessert named “Bing-Su” had caffeine LMAO i doubt. Korean mostly drink Ice Americano like water especially after we eat so much calories and feeling guilty. Because mustakahvi helps a bit from becoming fat and Korean don’t have time to blow the hot coffee. With this same logic, Korean prefer pikakahvi. NO TIME TO FILTER THE COFFEE
