Honestly surprised it’s taken this long considering Croatia and Germany have always been buddies.
I think one interesting aspect based on my conversations with different Europeans across Europe is how much they like Croatia and Croatians. To be more specific, I don’t recall a single time anyone from the EU said a bad thing about Croatia or its people.
Now for some of Croatia’s neighbours I believe the phrase often used was “Build a wall.”
It’s about time! Now let’s do Romania and Bulgaria next.

Lol, this is just a Conclusion. It’s a good sign, but the actual decision will be taken in 6 months. AFAIK Romania and Bulgaria got these too.
Dutch will still veto alongside France. They just didn’t veto that they are complying with the rules. Same thing for Bulgaria and Romania.
