Was the burning of Cork not in 1920? They had a centenary commemoration last year.
1 ex auxiliary when interviewed years later about the event and why they went on an arson and robbery rampage simply stated ” well it was Christmas” . Least we forget these were dangerous terrorists who delighted in subjugating the people of Cork by stealing from shops, burning down businesses / homes and randomly shooting at civilians.
