These lads rang me a couple of weeks ago trying to get me to change over to bill pay, €35 per month. I said to him “On prepay, I pay €20 a month for unlimited data, unlimited texts & free calls to three numbers. Why would I change?” He couldn’t give me a good reason.
Iv had the same 20 euro pay as you go plan for 7 or 8 years now. 20 euro for unlimited everything for the month, then keep the credit afterwards. One €20 top up every 3 or 4 months is all i end up using.
Even now im living abroad because of the EU doing away with roaming fees its dirt cheap, and there constantly trying to “upgrade” to a 30-40 euro a month contrac.
They want you to switch to they can put you on the newer contracts which will go up by 4.5% every April. As a former employee, stick to legacy or prepay. Legacy (to my knowledge) still runs on the old 02 network which is much better etc
