Jokes aside, I’m constantly amazed at how well informed Europeans are with American politics. I know America is a topic in news, media, entertainment for many countries (and not so much the other way around for us, Americans) but it’s still shocking how many people know details about how Congress works, which states are “swing” states, when election days and terms are, etc.

Needs more confederate flag for accuracy.
I don’t know to what extent, but watching sports games starting with the national anthem is really weird and kind of cringe to our eyes (southern European here)
That reminds me of a post I saw on r/thenetherlands. Someone asked how to dispose of a Dutch flag.
It’s a tattered piece of cloth. Just throw it in the trash. Nobody’s going to care.
