Hey guys, how am I supposed to know which floor heating pipes go where, and is it an issue if i just set them to 0, by turning the wheel to total Minimum?
Rental place? Ask the landlord for a translation table 2.3 1.2xxxxxx <-> Human understandable (ideally a floor map with room number designation).
Turning stuff to 0 is not a problem per se, but consider potential frost damage. Close the supply flow valve, not the return flow valve if anything.
Step 1. Go in every room and turn the thermostate to 0.
Step 2. Wait 10min.
Step 3. Turn the thermostate from room X to its max, and wait 10min.
Step 4. Look in the cabinet which motor turns color (possible up to 4motors per thermostat)
Repeat step 2 and 3 until u know which is which of every circuit. U know the Circuit is open when you see the motors getting a blue or red head
This is the way
I have a problem that if i turn thermostat up, start hearing noise of water running all day and night…
I have the same style heating but no thermostat. Why are people assuming here that there is a thermostat? I checked in the apartment again to see if I miss the thermostat and no there is not any. I manually adjust the level and yes 5 years ago I had to label them myslef. I am in the ground floor and actually even at 25% for the valve open the apartment becomes an oven. Infact in the bedrooms i have less than 10% flow. I dont like cold floors but I do like cool air. So after some hit and trial have found the best settings.
