There are some hard lessons to be learned from this.
Lol only 200 euro ? Don’t take the money, Jesus that sounds horrible. Treatment by people who are too busy to take care of your damaging erection 🤮
They clearly need better education and understanding of how to deal with an issue like this. I have seen multiple documentaries where nurses have taken care of similar problems in double quick time, and with smiles on their faces at that.
So, how does one cause priapism? And, without using the cringe sounding needle option, how does one treat it?

because….. It’s likely cheaper than some pills.
I mean it’s not like underpaid care home staff would have had any training for this eventuality and they DID contact the GP (I doubt many would consider an erection an emergency)
The day 1 erection was probably not reported as the carer likely didn’t want to embarrass the patient
Not sure how there could have been a different outcome really
Even I, a complete idiot, knows that if a man has an erection for a prolonged period of time is a sign of something wrong. If they’ve have had a fall it could be a spinal injury.
We need more rigid rules around this type of thing.
Maybe the care home did pull a boner, and maybe they didn’t… Maybe they should have
Reddit: It’s a man with a life-changing permanent injury, quick everyone crack jokes!
I know everyone’s making jokes but this man will suffer badly because of an oversight by the people meant to look after him. My grandmother died of sepsis after care home staff neglected to give her medication/report abnormalities and it’s very sad when a lot of the people in these homes cannot advocate for themselves.
How do you get a 4 day pan handle? Asking for a friend.
The headline is misleading and pushing an opinion onto its reader base that it knows will lap it up.
CQC investigation is very strict and thorough, they can shut down a Care home and they do.
You can see that it has been reported to GP and then 111, so the 4 day title is completely over exaggerated.
Care home staff work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week doing a brilliant job in harsh conditions for peanut salaries. Why is the Paper attacking these hardworking folk who are doing a very stressful job. They are not paid £100k like an MP, they are minimum wage staff doing a service to the community, wiping crap off bums, spoon feeding adults, dressing them, playing with them. Just stop this Cancel Culture and give people a break.

Actually thought it said brain damage at first. Left no blood for the rest of the body.
I know it’s old but imagine if this were a woman.
Reckon there’d be a lot less jokes.
Keep up the fight against inequality though guys 👦
People ignore my erections, too.
I have to go right out of my way, at great personally financial and emotional expense, just to get people to do something about them…!

I thought this story was going to have a happy ending
I can never say this enough do not send anyone you remotely care about to a care home. They are worse than prisons.
Yet another NHS victim. Luckily he wasn’t killed by them this time.
