I was going to get solar panels installed tomorrow, but the company just rang me and are going to have to rebook as there vans/installers got stuck in all the traffic today, meaning the jobs they meant to be on today all postponed.
Edit: reading some of responses, I can confirm getting solar panels energy prices forced hand as we were waiting until kids a little older plus it will help environment in long term.
I’ll probably still buy odd thing from China, try not to but sometimes unavoidable. Yes, I’ll still drive my car however covid has meant work now allows us to only be in office one day a week so usage had dropped massively.
I’d like the government to take more action. Wouldn’t / shouldn’t be too hard to at least get all new builds fitted with solar when built.
The vocal minority, just stop oil, have found their home on reddit. You will get buried by their propaganda, but they will be in jail soon and we can continue trying to build a sustainable future without eco terrorists slowing us down.

In a few decades, we will see everyone claiming they were behind XR, Insulate Britain and Just Stop Oil as the effects of climate change make life significantly different and harder to what it is now. We have already been given a hint of what climate change will bring and people were still saying it was beach weather and nothing to worry about. It is no wonder we are still sleepwalking into disaster.

Go piss off the higher ups, go protest around them, make THEIR life hell, not the people barely making ends meet in this economy and potentially causing them to get fired because they can’t get to their fucking job on time. You don’t get people on your side by causing a scene that would result in them being late to, and then losing their job.
