Yeaaaaah… Right. One of the thing that the recent Russian attempt showed us, it’s that some things don’t happen as planned.
Turkey has no place in NATO or the EU with an attitude or leader like that.

He could, but he won’t. This is just pandering to brainlets. Without nuclear deterrents, as big and well-equiped as the Turkish army is, they’re gonna get curb-stomped by the rest of NATO pretty quickly.
He’s pandering to the hardliners in Turkey. He does this every few years to make sure he has them on his side.
