Can this be extended to include video game loot boxes please?
Want to stop children from being attracted to gambling? Stop companies, such as our Canadian-owned National Lottery, from saying PLAY at every opportunity. Children play. Adults gamble.
I did a Ctrl+F on the Irish Lotto website – PLAY is mentioned 40 times on the homepage. Gamble, or even gambling, not once.

Maybe also do something about the millions every year that the government spend to support the horse/dog racing industries that are built on both exploitation of gambling addicts and the animals themselves.
How about stopping every toy that you can’t clearly see what your getting – my daughter loves LOL Surprise – playing with them involves opening them to see the surprise – there is fuck all else to them

Apart from how morally bad they are they completely normalise gambling behaviour in a child.
The govement should make thier own gambling company where you get 100% fair odds so gambling addicts would break even over time

Is it not the gambling companies responsibility BY LAW to ensure that under 18s don’t sign up to their websites??
Where does predatory gatcha games aimed at kids fall under this law?
