Looking for a great name for this new pup, was thinking Freya or Aska, what do you guys think?

3. Cute dog. Icelanders tend to use the Nordic god names for humans though. It’s big over here. Aska is great though! Snati, Brúsi, Vaskur are super Icelandic and traditional dog names.

    Then again I’m not one to decide the name for your buddy. Have fun with the little doggie

16. Aska is very close to the Nordic name Askja, which coincidently is a very suitable pet name (not so much humans). In Iceland it’s also the name of a volcano.
