That first image from De Kleine Robbe is so sexist and no one is even mentioning it. I don’t think it’s of this time, let alone to put that in the street and celebrate it. Same with De Kiekeboes. And literally all of these old Belgian comics have a lot of racism, both implicit and explicit. But don’t touch our comics, right? This is our heritage and our nostalgia. We love looking at those cartoon tits and laughing at the ooga-booga jokes.
