There is no precedent for this and the idea the king is helping to bypass democracy to give a lifelong peer to unsuitable sycophants is not acceptable. Johnson is debasing the lords. He’s put nearly all his former bosses in there (dacre nominated again), his Russian handler, his brother, many who have bought their spot and now he wants to give a life peer to a 28 year old assistant in her first real job.
Think it’s time the lords (now bigger than the Chinese assembly) to go. It’s been destroyed by Johnson
