There must be a bunch of thirsty hoors on their way into town.

  1. Ah, I seen this on Twitter and wondered if it was Ireland or not. I think the Twitter page was British so I wasn’t really sure. We sport is a lovely town, by the way.

  2. They all look like lovely pints. Assuming the westport team were about to arrive on Sunday. Those pints would’ve been gone in minutes

  3. that’s all fine and dandy but I pray they got 20+ customers waiting for all them pints otherwise they’re gonna be manky by the time anyone gets to them

  4. Imagine playing music night there ‘I’ll get me coat’ Matts one of the reasons why I picked up the Irish flute then put it down again and swapped over to the triangle. Which by the way I’m quite the exponent off.

  5. It’s from an event that was on last week, not sure of the exact details but there was a big do for it in the yard bar, 50 pints were ordered. I imagine most were drank but the photo op was a good opportunity.

I worked there for a number of years. I often spent a solid 20 minutes at a time stood in front of the guinness taps, pouring two at a time. There’s a great draw on the pint, and despite the length of the lines to the keg room, never seen/poured/drank a bad pint in there.

  6. I was in this pub years and years ago while on a hen weekend, had a brilliant Saturday night there. Next day, we went back and were there for the lock in, the barman remembered our entire drinks order from the night before. He was pouring and this aul lad sat beside me and started chatting- lovely guy, I told him we were on a “golfing” weekend with a massively exaggerated wink, he asked what we thought of the pub, I told him best pub I’d ever been to anywhere. Conversation over, the barman brought the drinks to our table and as we were sláint-ing I looked up to the wall and saw the aul lad in a photo… it was Matt Molloy himself!
