Is anyone else sick of looking for spots to place these elves in? It’s only the 12th and I’m running out of ideas 😫😫

  2. Feed it to the dog, have it fuck off to Santa’s hospital for recovery. It can miraculously reappear on the morning of Christmas Eve wrapped in bandages and bearing delicious breakfast treats.

  3. There’s a few instagram accounts with ideas you can follow.

    One good one I heard was sprinkle some flower in the kitchen and press the elf’s feet into it to give the impression it was walking around the kitchen looking for something.

  8. I put the prick inside the piano this year. The kids will forget about him eventually. I swear I’ve fucked this little shit into the bin every New Year but he keeps turning up…creepy little fucker.

  9. Put him away for a day or two and tlel the kids he’s gone invisible to make sure they’re not just pretending when he’s around.

  10. Oh stop! Totally running out of ideas. I’ve been Googling “easy elf ideas in 5 minutes” and there are some quick and easy ideas.

  13. Someone bought us one of these bastards. Luckily the kids don’t give too much of a shit. What a stupid tradition.

  15. We got a white board market and the elf give us beards and moustaches on our wedding photo. They are still giggling about that!

  17. Plonk them in front of tv with other soft toys and the remote control pretend they are having a movie night.

    Break up some spaghetti and write something on the countertop with it, with elves propped up close by or head stuffed in the spaghetti pack.

    Set up any board game and pretend they’re playing it. I’ve used that one several times with different games.

    Flour on the countertop and elves making ‘snow’ angels in it.

    Make a tiny den for them, something simple like a blanket over a card board box. Battery string lights inside if you have them.

  19. i get the hatred for the little prick but our guy loves it. we dont do the whole “elf is watching you” thing, he just does random stuff at night. I source most of his tricks online too so far weve had:
    1) His first night he arrived with snow spray and wrote “Im Back” on the door glass and sprayed snowflakes
    2) Piled all the sofa cushions so he could swing from the light
    3) Played a game of connect 4(we’ve two elves)/ played the fussball table
    4) The grab tab broke off elf 2, Elf 1 sewed it back on for him so they were found on the sewing box
    5) they emptied the cutlery drawer, spilling cutlery over the floor and put themselves in there covered in cloths like they were in bed
    6) They had a card game with the characters from the Nativity crib
    7) wrapped toilet paper around the tree, dining chairs, curtain pole and were swinging from it like tarzan
    8) They had a race on the wooden reindeer decorations
    9) had a snowball fight using rolled up paper as snowballs
    10) stuck paper moustaches on some of the framed pictures
    11) propped up on sofa with popcorn and the remote having a movie night
    12) Dropped an egg in front of the fridge, open the door to find him sitting in there holding another egg
    13) Wrote “Oops i Pee’d” in frozen peas on the floor
    14) Took a selfie on my phone of him beside my sleeping son and left a note asking him to check my phone

  23. We set him up watching smallies tablet, that was a big success. Also hid him in the fruit bowl, hung from a stocking, get some string and he can mountain climb up the door/rad
