  1. It’s quite funny seeing the mainstream right wing press trying to make out this is the SNP and Labours policy, without highlighting it’s also current Tory policy.

    While the more online cohorts are trying to paint it as a massive conspiracy.

  2. Are these reparations going to be a bit like foreign aid and handed over in brown envelopes to facilitate some exploitative business deals in the third world?

  3. Countries that pollute more should pay more to fix it. Or compensate for the damage caused if they can’t fix it. It’s pretty basic justice.

    That’s around the cost of a single wind turbine.
    In the face of a climate emergency, that’s as useful as using a watergun to try and water the desert.

  5. Surely, it shouldn’t just be up to us and unless we caused it, i don’t understand why she is trying to pressure the government into doing so. That and the tories would rather funnel that five million into their accounts.
