Unsociable? its a transport service, was anyone that entered into the job surprised that trains don’t stop running at 6pm?
Are doctors now also going to strike because people get ill after 6pm?
I would guess that’s part of the reason they get paid through the nose then.
They knew the score when they applied for the role…
Erm as someone who has family working for TFL, they’re able to swap their shift all of the time, TFL generally allow you to swap your shift, prefer working mornings? Likely someone else prefers working evenings you just need to find someone to swap with.
Not always applicable, depends on the station you work at all.
I’m sure there are others who would gladly take on these cushy jobs.
Half the ticketing and support staff look very underworked from what I can see anyway.
Why do people apply for a job, and then complain when they are asked to work.
You knew what the role entailed when you applied, no one held a gun to your head and forced you to work.
If you don’t like the job, leave!!! There are hundreds of people dreaming of having a TFL job, especially for the free/discounted Travelcard.
Underfunded schools and teachers and police cuts and these rich train people are complaining. They need to get a grip.

Maybe they can use their 52 days off each year for that;
