This is getting out of hand now…..

  1. 2 years ago they were selling a same size luxury cone and berry tree for £12.50 (down from £50) so I seriously doubt these were ever anywhere close to €250.

  2. I’d love to see the proof that they are normally priced at €240 considering other shops have them ranging from €99-€140!

Edited to add: to see proof that Tesco have actually sold them at this price before and aren’t just saying it in order to make the Clubcard price more appealing.

  3. It should be illegal dual pricing. You have to give some data to Tesco so they can sell to third parties to get a discount how do they get away with it

  4. I don’t really understand what they think they’re doing here other than, again, as always, giving you the option to have a club card.

You can still shop elsewhere in my places.

Anywhere there’s a tesco, there’s usually an aldi, lidl, dunnes not toooo far away, right?

  5. I saw “special offer” stickle bricks (kids toy) for 40 euro or 25 with club card. Was very tempted but was waiting on pay day, but googled them, 24.99 in Smyths not on sale, not on special offer. Total madness. Haven’t been back to tescos since and don’t plan on ever getting a club card.

  6. SV are in on this little game too. They were selling a box of 6 particular bottles of wine at €50 w/club card or €100 without. You can buy the same wine at €10.95 p/bottle Instore without a clubcard. Yes there’s a saving of €6 to buy the box but this hyper inflation of “non clubcard” is bonkers.
