We were promised businesses moving out of London, to mainland Europe, following Brexit. I have to say I haven’t seen too much of that, and here we lose one big HQ.
Is Shell Anglo-Dutch in name only, or are they still significantly tied to DutchNetherHollandia?
Seeing how it’s mostly symbolic and tax structure wise should tell you enough (+- 10 staff are moving). Good riddance.
good riddance, now time to collect ALL unpayed/dodged taxes with retroactive effect
So when are they going to clean up all the oil-rigs the’ve build in the (Dutch) North Sea?
Or are they planning to leave them there to rust away so the Dutch tax payers can in the pay the cleanup bill?
Shit company, won’t miss them
If they’re leaving the Netherlands, their “Royal” name should be gone imo.

I personally paid more tax than Shell paid on corporate income tax. That pretty much sums it all up. Completely parasitic company with devastating impact on the environment and a mindset that it is perfectly ok not to contribute any income tax to society.
