Yes there was terrible leadership by the British government, and this grid has been forgotten quickly. However in fairness the British government didn’t get a heads up before the Withdrawal and were reacting, not acting.
Remember when Boris’ mistress slowed down the evacuation by demanding some fucking dogs be evacuated? Whole thing was a mess. Shameful incompetence.
Having worked with Foreign Office people during my time in the Royal Navy and in Kabul, I’ve got to at least be partially sympathetic to Rabb.
I’ve never met such a greater concentration of “wets” than I did in the FCO.
