The Italian prime minister’s opinion on France from europe

  1. Shes trying a very tired fascist tactic, pretending that she doesn’t want black and brown people in Europe for humanitarian reasons, instead of because she is a massive racist.

She can afford to appear critical of French colonial rule, because Italy lost all their colonies after the war. She is right about the way children are being exploited, but don’t be fooled for one single second that she actually gives a shit about them, or that she wouldn’t do it too if she only had the chance.

  2. I haven’t watched it. Did she mention the outrageous national debt of Italy as well? You know, one of the most outrageous national debts in the industrial world?

If not, she can go fuck herself.

  3. What has that to do with Italian politics?
Shift blame from own ineptitude to deal with issues into hating the other. Basic populism.

  4. I am not a big fan of France but I will have to defend them here. She has no idea what she is saying.

Members of the CFA franc zone have to deposit 50% of their foreign reserves with the French treasury, which in exchange gurantees unlimited convertability of the CFA franc to euro at a fixed parity, but she thinks that means France gets 50% of their export revenues 😭😭. How are these people in charge of countries with such little knowledge of how things work 😭😭

  5. Nice job electing this absolute cunt, Italy. Clap clap. Yay for fascism. It started in your country, so why not elect it again, huh?

    MORONS.

You really want to get your ass beaten again?

  6. France is still a colonial power and what happened in Algeria was considered to be genocide by Lemkin himself.

  7. One thing that I have never understood with the far right is their love for holding ‘evidence’ in their hands in front of them. Marine Le Pen does this too. She will suddenly take some random graphic or printed Tweet out of her pocket and display it for all to see. ‘See? I have it here for you to see’, she’ll smile proudly.

I have always thought it is cringe and actually detrimental to the argument. It looks cheap, unprofessional, random. It feels like everything she says is scripted. And eventually it is confusing.

In this example we are commenting, Meloni ends up holding a foreign child’s picture, probably without his consent, or his knowledge. What does it mean? Why him? Where was the picture taken? It all feels like unnecessary bullshit eventually.

  8. Just for context, this video is from January 2019.

Our politicians change a lot in three years. In 2019 Renzi was a member of the Democratic Party, Conte was a populist anti-EU prime minister and Salvini was kissing rosaries at party rallies.

You’ll find similar declarations from Luigi Di Maio as well, who at the time had met with the leader of the gilets jaunes just to make Macron angry and now has evolved into one of the most pro-EU politicians.

What she said then isn’t necessarily her current position.

This irrespectively of her not knowing what she’s talking about in this circumstance.

  9. Wow.. wasnt it possible to print that fake picture on actual photo paper and not like school kids that print something on the 30$ Epson when they didnt prepare a powerpoint presentation

  10. While she might be wrong about most things, she’s not wrong about the huge negative effects the CFA Franc continues to have on African development.

  11. To have lived 2 years in Ouagadougou, Burkina fasso, at that time the gold mine was exploited by a Canadian company, not France neither French government.

  12. This was a hoax that circulated a couple years ago. Italian far right and the 5 star movement started spreading this conspiracy theory against France to blame the immigration problem on them.
The CFA actually helped the countries that adopted it.
