11. I had at least 3 at breakfast every day I was in Finland. Loved them so much I started making them myself, but they are no way nearly as consistent as yours.

19. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Finland for the first time and had these at a breakfast buffet. As an American, I found them confusing and I see all the love Finnish people have for them. Are they sweet? Do you put jam on them? Eggs?

    Breakfast is my favorite meal, and I don’t think I did the Finnish breakfast correctly.

27. My hubby and son are taking part in the Great Saimaa Cycling tour next year. I’ll make sure to find your bakery while I wait for their return and try these wonderful looking piirakat. My Karelian mother would surely have approved them!
