  1. We never learn, populism and lack of proper historical education lead to people believing these guys where the good guys. fml

  2. The most troubling part in these photos is that it’s not just angry young men, but people of all ages.

  3. Is Spain just a country of extremists or something lol.

You’ve either got postage stamps celebrating communism or the nutters giving Nazi salutes.

It’s as if there’s still no realisation that both of those ends of the spectrum are definitely not the way forward.

  4. If I had a nickel for every southern european state where there are public events on a past fascist dictators death-day *in favour / support of said dictator*, then I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t much, but it’s extremely alarming that it happened twice (this year.)

  5. NGL, had me in the first half. “Celebrating the anniversary of the death of a dictator” sounds based AF if you’re working on the assumption that there’s a Guy Fawkes sorta situation going on.

Should’ve known better though, given the “Spanish nationalists” part.

  6. If you don’t support Ukraine, such photos are gonna be the “reason” for russian fascists to invade you next.
