Was just reading her wiki page and saw this which surprised me:
“Mone was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for “services to the lingerie industry” in the 2010 New Year Honours.”

Her billionaire husband gave some money to Actionaid who helped to build some schools in Africa.
Somehow that has become Michelle Mone and her husband personally building African schools, and totally not being racist because of that.
Funny how she had no recollection of the incident yet remembers distinctly that he ‘appeared white’. Also, why would she refer to a ‘white man’s skin’? Very odd phrasing for something not racially motivated.
Quite apart from the obviously racist comment she made, and the totally thick response (she said she “didn’t even know he wasn’t white so how can it be racist?” But the comment was “waste of a white man’s skin”, which is blatantly racist no matter who you’re talking to). Quite apart from that, is the foul, bullying, and shockingly inarticulate way she chooses to express herself in private. Is this a person who should be representing our country? Is this a person even capable of scrutinizing government legislation?
I don’t know how I’d feel if I were a baroness and my lawyers argued that I couldn’t have written the message because the message was too incoherent to have been written by a baroness.

Whilst right minded people are disgusted by this kind of behaviour, to the tory voter base, it’s a PR exercise.
Tory voters will lap this up, and those on the fence will lean further over it and start voting tory.
There are far too many people in this country that align with this racist shit, can empathise with the lack of intelligence, and it’s resulted in a country that applauds people drowning in the channel.
