Hi all,
I’ve moved into a new apartment outside of Munich in October. My landlord told me to get my own utility contract. I kind of forgot about it for a couple of weeks but now want to finally do it.
After my small research I was recommended to go for a **Grundversorgung** contract as these regular ones are crazy expensive right now.
My question is – how do I do that? I found out that my default Grundversorgung provider is E-ON (not the SWM like for most of Munich). On E-ONs website I did not find any way to sign up for the [Grundversorgung](https://www.eon.de/de/pk/strom/grundversorgung-strom.html). They only ofer the long-term, expensive contracts over there.
I’ve sent them an email 2 weeks ago, no response.
I’ve found one office of theirs in Munich center, but would rather do it remotely (not to have to take a day off from work just to do that :/ ).
Cheers,
auror

Check if you are right and call them, some have a store in the city center. But normally you automatically are going back to your *Grundversorger* if you cancel your current contract.
So they made it insanely difficult to switch to them if you moved in a new apartment.
You have to call(or visit store if one exists) and request paper forms, than you send in by letter or fax. Then you get a contract number and can pay invoices or have them book from your account.
Just remember to always say you want Grundversorgung and not a new regular contract
