Love Kilbane but no,Roy Keane was a great player but he wasn’t Maradona.
I was 8 at the time and I have very fond memories of that World Cup, I’d often speculate how they could have done had they beaten Spain and indeed if Roy Keane had stayed. Mind you, even if they had got past South Korea and made it to a semifinal and somehow beaten Germany, I would see no way that we had the beating of Brazil or even could have drawn with them, so it’s moot. Still though, it’s fun to dream
