Disgusting how we offer more compassion and sympathy for terminally ill animals than humans
We’re long overdue for a change to the laws regarding euthanasia.
>The former miner from Northumberland admits killing Mrs Hunter but his legal team have argued it was an assisted suicide, not murder.
>
>Mrs Hunter, who had terminal blood cancer, was suffocated by her husband who then tried to end his own life by taking an overdose.
Jesus Christ. Poor man. Imagine being forced to do this, because medically assisted suicide is illegal.
Make assisted suicide legal and provide those who desire it with dignified methods of achieveing it. Ffs, the woman had terminal cancer, it was game over for her, why put a conviction on her husband’s head for an outcome that was going to happen anyway and in a much slower and more painful fashion, I can’t even imagine what dying of blood cancer must be like, but fuck that.
People who deserve jail avoid it and people who don’t deserve it get fucked in the UK.
The state of this country is unbelievable
Needs to be made legal with all the right terms and checks, so fucking simple
We should have the right to die as much as we have the right to live.
Should have got drunk and run her over with his car. Would have got a suspended sentence and a fine.
Who exactly is benefiting from him going on trial? Do they think he’s going to repeat this? Pathetic.
