Jeremy Hunt faces rebellion on Tory right over autumn statement

  1. Not surprising really, given he reached, nose held and desperate, for Gordon Brown’s policies to save the country. It’s like he stood there admitting everything the Conservative Party believe was a lie and a failure.

The government shills on the sub have been out in force trying to change the narrative today, but the damage is done boys. They’ve set the country on fire and only an election can save us.

  2. Not surprising given that the party of low tax with manifesto commitment of not raising tax (how long ago that seems!) decided to go on a tax raising binge.

I wonder if any of these MPs have the balls to defect or if they’ll just grumble a bit and then go quietly into the night.

  3. All things considered is there not a man on this earth more despicable than Jeremy Hunt?

Sorry just remembered that cunt Gove. As you were.

  4. Is there anything any politician can do that won’t cause some extent of a rebellion in their own party now?
