Also, they couldnt change it even if they wanted to. The UK is out. And they cant get back in tomorrow and especially not on the Same Terms as before.
So… Start rallying for a starting an application procedure or quit whining.
And?
In 2016 most people (who voted) thought joining the EU was a bad idea. The grass is always greener and we said during the campaign that staying was the best option, leaving was irreversible and the benefits outweighed the perceived downsides (many of which were fabrications).
We really need to look forwards and work out how we can progress while outside of the EU rather than looking backwards and trying to rejoin, the US and Japan are outside of the EU and do OK, we should have an UK-EU trade deal of some sort of course but rejoining will just mean in about a decade we’ll be seeing articles with headlines saying “Most in UK now believe rejoining the EU was a bad idea.”
Wait, you mean liberals were right yet again? But conservatives who supported Brexit said it would be awesome.

What UK should do, is investigate foreign meddling in the referendum. It’s astounding that it hasn’t already.
