Whats all this bi this and bi that as a solution? That’s no solution that’s just a band-aid. The solution is one not bi. One Cyprus, one people, one society, one flag, many religions and languages and cultures together. You know…like America but ultra small sized. Turkey can stay out of it and Greece can stay out of it and the UK should also stay out of it and especially the EU should stay out of it. This is between us and our TC brothers to sort out.
Maybe I’m just dumb and can’t understand anything but damn would that be a beautiful sight.
Adadan neredeyse 50 yıl geçti, Ananın planı oylamasından 18 yıl geçti, Crans Montana’da barış görüşmeleri çuvalladı. Zaman geçtikçe daha bir ümitsizleşiyorum. Kıbrıs’ta bir yarr*m olacağı yok gibi aynı statüko devam. Olan Kuzeyde yaşayan halka oluyor, Dünyadan izole ve Dünya’yı takip edemiyecek kadar geri kalıyor, e malum böyle bir düşük kaliteli yaşam ortamında çözümü destekleyecek gençler yeni yurt aramaya başladı, hayatını kurtarmak için. Durumun önemini idrak eden gençler tutanayıp yerine, Kuzey Kıbrıs’a daha boktan koşullarda yaşayan bilinçsiz yabancı insan nüfusu taşınıyor.
Bunları hesap edince, çözümsüzlük daha da derinleşiyor.
Bir zaman sonra Kıbrıslı Türk ve Rumlar arasında ortak herhangi bir şey kalmayacak.
Barış konusuna gelince, Ada şu an savaş mı var? 1974’ten itibaren sözde yıllarca beraber yaşamış komşu iki halkın silahları sustu, paslandı. Tekrar birleşme engellenemez denseydi daha makuldur. Kıbrıslı Türkler ve Rumları haksız da olsa bir şekilde barışı buldular. Geriye kalan haksızlıkları ortadan kaldırmak ve tek bir çatıda iki halkı birleştirmek.

Interesting to notice greek and turkish nationalist are getting triggered by this together. Hmm its as if they are working for the same goal
1963 1967 1974 .. And after 1974 no clash no fight no blood..
The peace was obtained by force .
Turks who could save their lives from greek militia in 1963 1967 and 1974, left their villages, homes and moved to bigger Turkish settlements and they made Turkish ENCLAVES surrounded by greek forces . The island was seized by greek coup militia . Turks and opponent Greeks had been slaughtered. Makarios escaped to GB. If Turkey hadnt intervened just in time , the coup already had become succesful and the island would have been a part of Greece.. And Turkish Cypriots would have left the island or had been massacred . Now there is a de facto peace provided by Turkey. The best solution. Two nations, two states. No a different future. Keep the peace this way
