  1. I remember a den where he came back from a meet n greet back in Kildare and was fucking hammered and admited it himself on air, he was dying off a hangover. Que Dustin to start flapping shouting g’wan ya good ting ye or else singing the opening bars of the feilds of athenry, anything to make Rays hangover worse.

  2. That explains so much! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

  3. The Den was incredible, watched religiously all through my youth, worst thing about the summer was there was no den on TV, RTE used to try fill the void with some other shite

  4. I always felt with the small set and narrow field of view that they seemed like they were right there in front of you.

Probably wouldn’t work today with bigger TVs and clearer broadcast

  5. It was was the best children’s entertainment show back in the day. The chemistry between Ray, zig & zag, Dustin was great, and didn’t seem forced or acted like other shows. The storyline with podge was brilliant when he first appeared. On a side note, I don’t really understand the stick Ray D’Arcy gets lately, I thought he was a very good presenter.

  6. You could always tell he was sick of it when he’d throw Ted away for the 3rd time in a row and look directly off stage and say ‘Now that’s Ted gone for good right?!’ He would look so annoyed.
