For the price the iPhone is selling at in Serbia (223k RSD), you can get a return plane ticket to New York (59k), take a taxi to Manhattan (6k), buy the same iPhone (126k), sleep over (25k) and return by taxi to the airport (6k).

quite a deal
Great, but when you arrive home, you have to pay the VAT based on the Serbian price.
And then you’ll have to pay the taxes (reason why it costs more in some places) when you enter back your State
How is the price you just cross the border to say Hungary, Romania or Bulgaria?
If it is much cheaper to buy it there, how can Apple demand such high price for the iPhone?
