“Thank you workers, we wouldn’t be here today without your sacrifices”
They’d need a ouija board to talk to a lot of them.
I imagine you’ll meet one everytime you get too near to the foundations.
As a sports washing project this World Cup might turn out to be a bit of an own goal. Hopefully anyway.
Alcohol isn’t illegal in Qatar, but there is zero tolerance for drinking in public and being drunk in public is a crime. So I guess 9 out of 10 english fans will be in jail by the end of the week.
If they really cared they wouldn’t even be there at all.
They sure showed Fifa by making a statement and playing in the tournament.
England take part in Qatar World Cup to show support for their brutal policies on homosexuality.
The few who aren’t concreted over beneath the stadiums
Do we all have to stand up and clap on a Thursday night?
Thank you for allowing us to get more than you and your family will ever see in four life times.
Kinda funny how we don’t want migrant workers here, don’t care if they drown trying to come here and incite hatred against them daily in the news but then do this showboating to support Qatars migrant workers. We might not be as evil but we’re in no position to act holier than thou.
Wow. It’s almost like they are being forced to play in the tournament
FIFA and Qatar are really ballsing this up and the tournament has not even begun. Once fans arrive, FIFA will probably have to confront how underwhelming the tournament is. Journalists are already being harassed so fans could easily get it worse as they fall foul of Qatar’s draconian laws.
More social media photo opportunities for the lions. That’ll really stick it to the Qataris.
Perhaps they could have a séance with some of them after training
Imagine being as far up your own arse as these guys are.
Bro your whole economy and industrial revolution was built on the back of workhouse child labour and the slave trade.
This is all about trying to clean their own reputations for going to Qatar. They know what they really need to do but they won’t.
